Welcome to The Order of Saint Joachim online discussion forum. This forum is designed for member use and assistance, to share information about The Order, and to keep our members all over the world in better contact.

It goes without saying that we expect our members to be at all times respectful, friendly, polite, positive, and helpful. Our members are all ladies and gentlemen, and are expected to behave at all times as such. This is simply what is required under The Order’s Code of Honour and the tenets of chivalry.

Opinions may be expressed, so long as they do not injure the reputation or character of The Order or any of its members. Again, all posts directed to other members or Grand Chapter officers of the Order must be respectful in tone. Unfortunately, some people are tempted to post things in a forum that they would never say in person.

Any discussion that becomes disruptive or argumentative may be removed without warning or later comment. Moderators and Administrators have the final word on what constitutes prohibited behavior. Violators may be suspended for 30 days. Repeat violators will be expelled.

Many of our members are also members of other Orders of Chivalry. There is a forum dedicated to discussions about other Orders. This forum may not be used to recruit or promote other Orders, but is for information and research purposes only.

This is intended to be a closed forum and not available to the public. This will allow our members to speak a little more freely. Each Member must clearly identify themselves in their public Profile as a condition of membership in this Forum. If a member cannot be identified and confirmed as a member in good standing of The Order, their account will be suspended.

All new accounts must be activated by the administrators before they can be used as a security feature. After registering a new account, send an email to the administrators at grandchapter@stjoachimorder.org identifying yourself as a member of the Order with your name and rank, as well as your Forum username, and we will activate it as soon as your status can be verified.

Images may be posted in these forums, and we encourage you to do so for the benefit of all. Please make sure they are appropriate. Images posted for educational and non-profit purposes are generally exempt from copyright restrictions, although credit should be given if the image does not belong to you or is not in the public domain.

Administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit or move any posts that we believe are Code of Conduct violations. Violation posts may be moved or edited without reference to the author.

Finally, as in all things, The Order’s online forum is moderated and administered by volunteers. Every attempt will be made to answer administrative questions quickly and keep the forum running smoothly. There will be delays and glitches as we work out the new technology. Please bear with us as we try to address questions and issues as promptly as possible.
